At BRITE, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health and that it’s something we all deserve access to, every single day. For many of us, spending time painting, producing a new track, writing a poem, or just freestyling in our notebook are ways we support our mental health on the daily. Or, we’ll meet up with friends and go to an art exhibit, museum, or concert.

We all experience emotions connected to anxiety, stress and depression. Being creative ourselves and getting inspired by other people creativity can help ground us, but sometimes it might not be enough. That’s why we’re spotlighting Wellness Every Day, the county-backed mental wellness portal run by Ventura County Behavioral Health.

It’s filled with apps to download, videos to watch, and even phone numbers that are answered 24/7 by people that can help you if you feel it’s too much to handle. Wellness Every Day has them all - supporting youth, seniors, LGBTQIA+ communities, foster youth, our military community, parents, caregivers, and more.
